The definition of yoga by Patanjali is
Ahar (diet)
Vihar (recreation)
Achar (daily routine)
vichar (value system)
These are the 4 pillars of yoga
If you are not following diet then you are not doing yoga. You are just doing some postures (asanas.)
This again emphasizes the importance of proper diet in diabetes.
It involves a control of calories. For this we must know the calories in each food item and select the food with low calories.
